This policy describes what BusinessDebt.net ("we," "us," "the site") collects when you visit, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a visitor. We've kept the language plain. Where a section is required by law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), we've called that out.
Summary
- The site does not require you to register, sign in, or submit a form to read articles or use the in-browser tools.
- We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and Google AdSense to display ads. Both involve cookies and may process limited information about your device.
- If you email us, we keep that email and any reply correspondence.
- You can opt out of personalized ads, ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, or ask us not to "sell" or "share" it (CCPA/CPRA terms) by emailing help@businessdebt.net.
Information we collect
Information you give us
You only give us information when you email us at the address above. We retain those messages so we can answer follow-ups and so we have a record of corrections requested. We don't run any forms on the site, so there is no signup, lead-capture, or assessment form that submits to us.
Information collected automatically
Like most sites, we (and our analytics and ad partners) automatically receive a limited set of technical information when you load a page:
- Your IP address (typically truncated by Google before storage)
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
- The URL you came from (referrer) and the URLs you visit on our site
- Time, date, and approximate region (derived from IP)
- Cookie identifiers set by Google Analytics, AdSense, and the underlying Google Tag
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following categories of cookies and identifiers:
- Strictly necessary. Required for basic site functionality (for example, loading pages and remembering whether the mobile menu is open). These are first-party.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 cookies (typically
_ga,_ga_<ID>) used to count unique visitors and measure aggregate traffic. We do not link analytics data to any individual identity. - Advertising. Google AdSense cookies and identifiers used to serve and measure ads, including frequency capping and (where consented) personalization. These can be set by Google and its advertising partners.
Our cookies policy lists the categories in more detail and explains how to opt out at the browser, ad-settings, and industry-tool level.
Google AdSense and personalized advertising
BusinessDebt.net uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads. As required, we disclose:

- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google's privacy practices are governed by the Google Ads Privacy Policy and the broader Google Privacy Policy.
Third-party vendors
Through AdSense, additional third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads or measurement on the site. Each such vendor's data processing is governed by that vendor's own privacy policy. The complete list of vendors changes over time and is published by Google.
